As we witness landscapes transformed; businesses and neighborhoods adorned with glitter and glimmering lights fill us with awe and wonder. Call us as laborers, benefactors, and appreciative public to be united in the collective effort to lift spirits and welcome winter.
If we gather with friends and communities like this one, let us celebrate our good fortune!
When we are alone, bring us ease and contentment that we may enjoy our own company.
If loneliness or disappointment stings us, spirit of compassion be with us, help us to be gentle with ourselves. And soon be the time that companions will embrace us with acceptance of the fullness of our experience!
In this season, when we remember loves ones who have died, help us to savor their gifts, that we might carry them forward.
Let joyful memories strengthen us and painful ones bring us to kindness.
